Our founders are friends who met at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London where they studied performance and creative leadership and this sparked their passion for designing and teaching creative music workshops in schools.
They both teach SEN students and were often asked about musical activities that were specialised and inclusive for all but struggled to give an answer. And so Rise Music Academy was born…!
Rise Music Academy runs creative music workshop classes specifically designed for children and young people with Special Educational Needs. Classes will be designed around the applicants and will focus on working on a vast array of skills including: communication, behaviour, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, emotional connections, social relationships as well as complementing the national curriculum. We offer small group, one to one and ensemble classes so students can choose which exciting and creative way they would like to learn and have fun!
